OMGoing to London.

Totes.

I totes am.

This is starting off on the wrong foot, giving the impression my life is fabulous & exciting because for the most part, it's not. This is just one of those rare opportunities that you get & you absolutely have to take advantage of, so I am. I leave this Monday at 7:30pm & get to Heathrow at 1pm the next day. To say I'm dreading that 10hr flight is an understatement...although the flight gets +10pts for having free drinks. Deep down I'm sort of excited to see the plane because it's one of those double-decker giant monsters & I know - I know, I won't be able to go upstairs - but still, I've never seen anything like that before. I feel like the flight there will be okay, I'll be so bursting at the seams with anticipation that maybe it won't be that bad. The flight back is going to be straight up brutal though.

Barring any mid-air panic attacks, I am really excited to go. I do want to see & do a few touristy things while I'm there like the London Eye & Buckingham Palace, but for the most part I just want to BE there. I want to hang out in pubs, ride bikes through the parks and eat perfect little sandwiches with no crust.

Last night I laid everything out that I want to pack & it dominated my entire bed. Maybe I don't need 11 pairs of shoes. Or doooooo I? I had been reading online about the weather in London this time of year & everything said it was miserably hot & humid. I frantically started planning tank tops & sundresses and dreading the profuse sweating. True I live in Phoenix, but it really IS a dry heat. I have ZERO tolerance for humidity. I've been checking the weather every day & it's, 65, 68, 70 degrees during the day & upper 50's at night.

Woah, woah, woah, wait a minute. I repeat, I live in Phoenix.

65 degrees is balls freezing to me! So that spirals me into light sweaters & cardigans - I have derailed.

In my free time of not obsessing about my trip, I have been a slave to Pinterest. It's the best/worst thing ever created because it feeds my addiction for fashion, style, decor, food...just what I need, another internet vice! OMGYES! Check out all the London inspo I've collected so far.
